Why do I need a SIM?

Benefits

Networking and the opportunity to present your capabilities / competences / experience to be taken into account for recommendations;

Building your own image while representing SIM (press, publications, speeches);

New acquaintances with people with an Interim Manager profile;

Mutual help, support, exchange of experiences; Internal training to sell more effectively and implement IM projects more efficiently; “Maybe” and by the way – finding a project.

Types of membership

Normal

An Ordinary Member of SIM may be a natural person who performs the profession of Interim Manager and meets all of the following criteria:

  • Has managerial experience;
  • Completed at least one interim project;
  • She completed the Application Form
  • Accepts the Code of Ethics of the Association;
  • It successfully passed the verification procedure and was recommended by 2 Ordinary SIM Members;
  • Obtains a positive decision from the SIM Management Board regarding membership;
  • He will pay an administrative fee and a contribution for the first year (the administrative fee – a contribution for statutory purposes is PLN 200, and the annual membership fee is PLN 500).

Honorary

A SIM Supporting Member may be a natural or legal person who is involved in actively promoting Interim Management solutions and/or supports the Association in achieving its statutory goals.

Supportive

A SIM Supporting Member may be a natural or legal person who is involved in actively promoting Interim Management solutions and/or supports the Association in achieving its statutory goals.

Rights and privileges of SIM members

A Regular SIM Member has the right to:

  • Using the title “Member of the Interim Managers Association”;
  • Using the logo and graphic signs of the Association in accordance with the arrangements, i.e. during public speeches, in contacts with the media, in activities promoting one’s own activities in the field of IM.
  • Participating in General Meetings of Members of the Association and taking part in voting;
  • Active and passive electoral rights to the Association’s bodies, recommending candidates for members of the Association to the Management Board;
  • Submitting applications to the Association’s bodies on matters related to its activities and requesting information on how to deal with them;
    Initiating and participating in meetings, events and training organized by the Association;
  • Promotion and support in searching for IM projects;
  • Support from other SIM Members;
  • Access to the knowledge base and the opportunity to exchange experiences with other SIM members.

An Ordinary Member of the Association is obliged to:

  • Take active part and/or cooperate in activities organized by the Association;
  • Comply with the provisions of the Statute and resolutions of the Association’s bodies;
  • Do not violate the organizational solidarity of the Association and take care of the good name of the Association;
  • Regularly pay membership fees and fulfill the obligations undertaken towards the Association;
  • Maintain regular personal and telecommunications contact with the Association.

Supporting and Honorary Members

  • They have the right to participate in the work and events organized by the Association, and do not have active or passive voting rights.
  • They participate in the General Meeting with an advisory vote.
